Who We Are: Founders Jim Glazner & Dr. David Hernandez

After extensive experience in both the retail and healthcare industries, Birmingham, AL native Jim Glazner set his sights on the medical aesthetic industry. Jim’s passion for educating others led him to become a national speaker for Allergan and Zeltiq until 2007, when he started The Prescription Aesthetics & Wellness Spa in Vestavia Hills. Jim’s spirited entrepreneurship and expertise in the aesthetic field led to rapid expansion, with the practice growing to more than triple its size in under a year. In addition, Jim has done studies on Extracorporeal shockwave therapy with Michael Gold, MD, Brian Biesman, MD, and David Goldberg, MD, JD. Today, he is recognized as a leader in the field of aesthetic medicine.

Dr. David Hernandez, also known as the Miami Love Doctor, specializes in the realms of male and female sexual health. In 2015, he joined a prominent anti-aging clinic where he was essential to the development of the protocol for the use of shockwave therapy for erectile dysfunction (ED) and female sexual dysfunction (FSD). Now, Dr. Hernandez is considered a master injector by Dr. Charles Runnels and is an instructor for various platelet-rich plasma therapeutic procedures developed by Dr. Runnels such as the P-shot, O-shot, and Vampire Facial procedures. He has also done shockwave treatments for sexual health on tens of thousands of patients, trained over one thousand doctors, and is considered an expert amongst his peers.
